Fatal K is a Mississippi made artist. Although his music may seem fatal, his background isn’t. He doesn’t pretend to be someone else is his music, although he does have some diction related to pain, violence, and tragic life experiences. Fatal K references to real life experiences in his music. He expresses that he or someone he may know has went through a serious of events that influence his writing. He states in the show that although his music may be categorized as hip-hop or gangsta rap, we go into some detail about how he feels not only is he not a gangsta rapper but because of his versatility, he looks at him self as as a musician, someone who can be a lyricist, conscious and hiphop artist all tied in one.
