Talib Jasir talks with Shamiko Reid on the eighth episode of Afros & Audio's Black History Month Interview series. Shamiko Reid is an independent podcast host and producer who invites guests to open up about the intimate aspects of their upbringing one question at a time.

As a lifelong learner, she takes pride in being present in communities where she can continue to improve her industry knowledge for herself and people around her. Her goal for 2023 is to use what she's learned thus far to not only grow the reach of her podcast The Discussion Room, but also to continue production of another project in which she emphasizes the stories of fellow alumna of her Alma Mater, Howard University.
