The A1 kicks things off with ‘OOO’ - a full-speed-ahead 4-4 anthem with looping vocals, charging percussions and rolling kicks ready for the dance-floor. This is followed by the broken-beat rhythms of ‘The Kink’, where vocal hits and thunderous drums combine in another quick-fire club weapon. ‘VVV’ comes on the A3 with more marching drum rhythms and eerie vocal atmospheres before the A-side closes with ‘New Friends’ and its pounding kick drum and creepy film quotations. The B-side launches with Valerie Ace’s remix of ‘New Friends’ - following on from their recent VA track on HAVEN last year the German producer reimagines the track in to a rolling techno slammer full of threatening atmosphere and disembodied vocal hits.
