When a young Eva Kollisch arrives as a refugee in New York in 1940, she finds a community among socialists who share her values and idealism. She soon discovers ‘the cause’ isn’t as idyllic as it seems. Little does she know this is the beginning of a lifelong commitment to activism and her determination to create radical change in ways that include belonging, love and one's full self. In addition to Eva Kollisch’s memoirs Girl in Movement (2000) and The Ground Under My Feet (2014), LBI’s collections include an oral history interview with Eva conducted in 2014 and the papers of Eva’s mother, poet Margarete Kolllisch, which document Eva’s childhood experience on the Kindertransport. Learn more at www.lbi.org/kollisch . Exile is a production of the Leo Baeck Institute , New York | Berlin and Antica Productions . It’s narrated by Mandy Patinkin. Executive Producers include Katrina Onstad, Stuart Coxe, and Bernie Blum. Senior Producer is Debbie Pacheco. Associate Producers are Hailey Choi and Emily Morantz. ×It's the end of February. Before starting my podcast, please download and share this podcast with your friends. In Karkur Junction, there was a car ramming by a Palestinian terrorist. According to the Times of Israel, the terrorist's name is Jamil Zayoud, 53 years old. It is truly horrific that innocent Israeli people have to go through the terrorist attacks like this. I believe President Trump's idea will work very well from a historical perspective and reality. Hamas supporters are in the narrative of "We can deny the terrorists' horrific attacks and at the same time we can also legitimize the annihilation of the Jewish and the state of Israel." Those protests are not against the war. I hope to invite a retired lawyer and a banker Leonard Grunstein in a few weeks to discuss this.…
March is around the corner. Hannah Klein talked about the customs of Japan on March 3rd under the Japanese tradition. The girls are supposed to be celebrated on the day. Hannah Klein's deeply disappointed at the lack of awareness toward the raped Israeli hostages and victims. Today was the funeral of the Bibas. The beautiful eulogy was read out. Many people were waving flags of Israel along the way. Why isn't the Japanese aware of the baby who was brutally murdered by Hamas. Hannah Klein discussed Hamas on this podcast episode.…
*Please listen, and download my podcast. Hannah Klein had a conversation in this podcast starting with a YouTube clip. Hannah Klein discussed the hostage exchange scenes with Col. Zamir, which is not a part of the conversation on the podcast. Col. Zamir discussed some realistic issues and hypothetical issues of the war and how to protect the sovereignty of Israel, which is very important for the Israeli people. I hope people don't take our opinions personally. Also, I'm not going to discussed the details of why the propaganda is a total lie.…
Hannah Klein invited a retired lawyer and a banker Leonard Gruntein. He co-authored a book titled, "Because It's Just And Right." There are a lot of misconceptions against Jerusalem and how Israel defines Jerusalem. Also, why must Jerusalem be the capital of Israel? Israel definitely has the right to exist. And, most certainly, Israel isn't occupying anywhere. Ultimately, Hannah Klein believes Jerusalem will be at peace when it rests as the capital of Israel. Listen to our conversation and think of why Hannah Klein finds this as a path for peace.…
Lenonard Grunstein, Len, co-authored with Farley Weiss Esq on the effort that they paid to move the Embassy of the United States to Jerusalem. President Trump recognized this. And, Abraham Accords. There were a lot of outstanding accomplishments during President Trump's first term. I'll be talking a little about Prime Minister Netanyahu tomorrow. LInkedIn seems to have problems with my account, even though there are no threats. I've had restrictions over and over the last two days. It is nothing but intentional. The news media talks about Gaza. Then, they totally ignore the BIbas family. How horrific they are. They appraise Hamas as resistance in a sense.…

1 Valentine's Day, The future guests on this podcast, the Antisemitic Researchers/Figures in Japan guest etc 32:25
Please listen, and download this podcast episodes. Also, recommend my podcast to your friends. It's Valentine's Day. Even though Hannah Klein wasn't aware, Hannah heard it on the radio and remember the day. To me, Valentine's Day is not about giving chocolates. Hannah did give a soft chocolate chip cookie to a cute girl as a Valentine's gift. She gave messages to people about how she cares about them. And, she believes Valentine's Day is a day to tell why or how she cares about them. Also, Hannah's also sharing her memory of Valentine's Day. It's a war time in Israel. A lot of people discuss politics. She'd like to give some entertainment for people because it's often important to have some joyful time. So, Hannah's going to invite various Israeli people with various backgrounds. Listen to the future guests on this podcast. Unfortunately, there are Antisemetic scholars, faculties like in the U.S. or the West in Japan. This podcast has a list of those who say something horrific about Israel and Zionists. Also, NHK made a terrible documentary about "the diplomat." Hannah don't want to call out the name of the "diplomat." Hannah is deeply disappointed at what the so-called granddaughter of the "diplomat" said in front of Auschwitz. It's Shabbat. Hannah hope Jewish people have peaceful Shabbat with your family or friends. Shabbat Shalom.…

David Atherton is a journalist and an advocate. He has appeared on BBC, iTV, and various other media. Also, his X views exceed 1 billion in total in a year. His posts on X get a lot of attention, and I myself am also interested in his posts. We discussed the "grooming gangs," the organized rape groups. It is a serious issue that the West, the U.S., or Japan allow these Imams who praise 9.11 or October 7th to stay. The most serious problem is that these Imams promote hate crimes and assaults of people. That is what is happening in the U.S. or the West. President Trump issued a very strong and effective Executive Orders including Gaza. Have a listen to our conversation.…
PM Ishiba met President Trump on Friday, EST. I did some checks on the dress code, his attitude, his facial expressions, etc. I don't know why he sat inappropriately the whole time. I don't do the fashion checks. However, the Japanese media never praised the generous and friendly attitude toward PM Ishiba, even though they like to do all the checks during the Summit most of the time. I was very nervous over how President Trump would react on PM Ishiba's insensitive attitude. No Japanese media praised President Trump. I believe that the U.S. is supposed to be the most important Ally for the U.S. under any administration. Especially, this term under President Trump is very important for Japan. I'm very disturbed by the attitude of the Japanese media. When it comes to Israel, there is no report of the cases of the rocket/cruise missile attacks by Gaza, Yemen, Lebanon ... Israel has been attacked by seven fronts since October 8th. There is also no report or condolences in public broadcastings by the Japanese media on the female victims of systematic rapes, tortures, and slaughters. No reports on ISIS flags found. What did they report about the victims and the people of Israel? They report according to Gaza Health Ministry or Al Jazeera. I hope they look at what Al Jazeera anchor posted as the celebration of October 7th. What does it mean by the balanced diplomacy? Israel has the right to exist as it was. Israeli victims are totally silenced and ignored. They may speak in words but what do they do in real? Only to blame Israel. I talk about this to Israeli people and they're not surprised and say with a humor, "No Jews, no news." I'll be discussing the rape cases and some serious issues in UK with a journalist, David Atherton, by the organized groups. It can be characterized with certain characteristics of them. I'll introduce in tomorrow. Also, I'll be discussing with him over the organized crimes by certain groups of males who do harm to women.…
To be straightforward, President Trump was very kind to Japan. President Trump didn't hit hard on Japan, and it's very honorable and generous of him to call Japan an ally to cooperate with each other. The manner of Ishiba was ... I will discuss this tomorrow as well. The second button of his suit top had to be loose. His clothing is always not right. I'll discuss the summit more in detail on Sunday. There will be David Atherton on my podcast. He's an advocate of the rape victims by organized rape gangs. I believe it is necessary to be heard on what is happening in UK now. In the first week of March, I'm inviting my old dear friend and a former U.S. Army service member Major(ret.) Montgomery Granger. He's been very kind to me for the last 10 years or so. I'm very pleased that he accepted my invitation and he'll be on my podcast on the first week of March. Leonard Grunstein Esq. will be on my podcast in the 3rd week or 4th week of February. I really love his book. It's fascinating to read. I'm so anxious to introduce his book, and discuss various topics with him. Also, I'm going to have a very exciting guest. I can't tell who it is. However, when it comes to UNWRA, this person is a specialist, and I'm pleased that she's coming to my podcast. I'll be discussing on the Summit on Sunday. And, more about Japan.…

Today's podcast has a special guest whose name is Dr. Ran Zamir. He's also a Colonel of the Reserve Army of IDF. It is truly a privilege and an honor to have him on my podcast. He also has a PhD in astrophysics. He shared his family background and his family history. Many Jewish people have memories of tragedy throughout history and during the Holocaust under the Nazi Regime. Putting his feelings or personal sentiments aside, he shared his views on October 7th, the military campaign in Gaza, ICC, the allegation of the war crimes. He did not tell his opinions representing certain organizations. It is his personal views and I hope that people listen to his opinion as one of an important objective views. I have learned a lot from his opinion on the Middle East. I made a special wordings about my small plan, which is about to come true, for the first time. Am Yisrael Chai.…
Bibi is now visiting the United States and Israel's victory against Hamas is now certain under President Trump's promise to the security of the future. Wonderful, right?? I believe so. I found out the hidden and open desire of PM Ishiba. This is something Kishida had. Also, Kishida and Ishiba's policy toward UNWRA and Gaza is more than horrible. Ishiba is visiting the U.S. soon. I hope that he gets preached hard by President Trump on what it means to be the ally of the U.S. Ishiba doesn't represent Japan. Ishiba also has a terrible plan for UNWRA. He's considering accepting refugees from Gaza. Well, if he wants to have terrorists coming to Japan as I read out on my podcast, he should be responsible, meaning they should all stay in Ishiba's house.…

1 Trump's proposal to Ukraine, Steelworker's Union President being corrupt, the next guest on Thursday 30:20
President Trump offered a proposal to Ukraine, and I believe that his proposal is very realistic. I was very displeased with Biden's deal with Ukraine. It was not good in any ways at all, for the U.S. or Ukraine. The war has to end. However, there shouldn't be corruption further. Also, Ukrainian soldiers need weapons to reduce casualties and fight against aggression. I didn't criticize Kishida's speech in Congress because of Ukraine. It's the problem in the way he spoke, and it's obviously inappropriate and rude to treat Congressional Republicans as if they were inappropriate. Kishida's speech, as the Prime Minister at that time, had to be for all the Congressmen and women. People saying "I'm sorry for Ukraine, but I'm against Israel's aggression." are most likely, not 100%, Pro-Russian, Antisemites. They support Hamas. Don't make up excuses and say, "I spoke for humanity." It has been so inhumane regarding how they act and treat Israelis and Jewish people in the U.S. and the West. I heard about U.S. Steelworker's Union President. He's such a corrupt man. He's now tying up with Goncalves and trying to agitate the public opinion to create the environment in the 70s-80s. At this point, Biden's decision was corrupt. It can be explained in one word, "corrupt" politically. The decision was made for political gains. It's not because of Reagan but these people who try to tell the public to burn, and hate the Japanese products. The Japan bashing. Goncalves has desire to acquire U.S. Steel in bargain prices. The President of Steel Worker's Union has gains cooperating him. They, SWU President and Cleaveland-Cliff CEO, are the ones who are corrupt and are trying to make a disaster.…
Please listen, download and share this podcast. Just Yesterday, I received a wonderful gift from my dear friend Leonard Grunstein. He is a retired attorney and he had other businesses. I was so excited to receive his book, I was reading his book in the afternoon till the evening. By the way, is it so difficult to understand President Trump's Executive Disorder? The U.S. is a country with a very strict immigration system. People may not be aware if they travel with a passport for sightseeing. However, there are very strict laws. The Japanese journalists were discussing the policy of the immigration system, but it sounded very unprofessional. Just yesterday, I talked with someone who is a very good-hearted person who lives in Israel. I talked about him because he was very emotional about his country and also he's thinking of his little children. I have a friend who has children, and their concern changes when they have children. By the way, UNWRA Japan is obviously lying to the public, and they believe that they can keep lying with the background of being "the UN." UNWRA is not an innocent organization at all. When Israel has a press conference in Japan, the journalists are intentionally spewing hatred and promoting it for some reason, telling your country is a nation of war crimes. Ignorance and Antisemitism do exist in the Japanese journalism, sadly. I'm inviting a former diplomat from the State Department, Robert Silverman, and Army Col.(Ret.) Ran Zamir on my podcast. And, there will be Leonard Grunstein as a guest after February 13th.…
The arrest warrants issued against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and the former Defense Minister Gallant are totally illegal. I expected ICC Sanctions Bill to be passed. Senator Fetterman endorsed the bill. Israel is the close Ally of the United States and has contributed to the United States. Bibi and Gallant will both not be arrested. At the same time, there is a huge meaning in the rejection of the bill. Ultimately, this is not just about Israel but also about some of the countries facing national security threats inside ICC jurisdiction. Japan, is one primal example. People who tend to claim peace are the ones who start to scream once a missile from the N. Korea ever lands on the Japanese soil. What is going to happen to Japan's obligation to ICC in case of emergency? It's a total double standard to blame Israel's military campaign. What President Trump promised is very important as a human. Jewish people have every right to live and spend time safely in the U.S. Also, his combating Antisemitism has a lot of meanings. Those protestors are endorsing terrorism, which includes supporting Hamas. Radical Islamists in the West and the U.S. are preaching to "End Jews and the Jewish Staet." They show support for child marriage and raping, and other security threats the U.S. has faced since 9.11. Nippon Steel's so-called acquisition is not about purchasing a U.S. corporation with Japanese money. Nippon Steel is investing to the U.S. market and contributing to the U.S. economy. At the same time, Nippon Steel will contribute to rebuilding one of the most famous companies in the U.S. throughout history and take back the reputation.…
It was Holocaust Memorial Day on January 27th. I can't say anything big, but I have my own words to commemorate Holocaust Memorial Day. This is my message to commemorate this year's Holocaust Memorial Day: https://www.facebook.com/hannah.klein.author/posts/pfbid032yBsoaaFiTnifzC8n8es9wUBHWuT2MDiPmW2r4qioC37WKbvzNjBeSHpXjKa7Pvql I missed Holocaust Memorial Day. It's for personal reasons. I was sick. But, not only that. I talk about the 80th, Holocaust Memorial Day. I was watching, though, an Irish President speaking about the Holocaust while he is now supporting South Africa, the country that brought PFLP core member as the country's delegation to ICJ. Unbelievable. Anyway, Leonard Grunstein, who is my friend and my future podcast guest. He wrote an article on Jewish News Syndicate(1/28/2025) https://www.jns.org/end-riots-from-hamas-supporters-by-enforcing-the-anti-terrorism-act/ I'm trying to tie up with my friend and scare people. No one has any reason to be scared as long as we live just an ordinary lives and respect Israel as a Jewish state. However, it sounds that it's very difficult for some people who support Hamas as resistance, especially. Jewish people/Zionists/Israelis must be protected and have full rights in the United States or Europe or elsewhere as long as they abide by the laws. I hope that many people read his article.…
