Grappling Rewind: Breakdowns of Professional BJJ and Grappling Events

This week on the show Maine and Emil recap Fight to Win 130 in Denver, CO, the AJP UAEJJF Queen of Mats and preview Fight to Win 131 Vagner Rocha Vs Tye Ruotolo. At the end of the episode we talk about the Spyder Championship.
In the news section of the show the hosts talk about the Upcoming Quintet Ultra event that will feature teams representing the UFC, Pride, WEC, and Strikeforce. Maine and Emil pontificate on who they think could be part of each team.
In the recap section of the show we kick it off with Fight to Win 130 Tim Spriggs defeating Erberth Santos via Decision to reclaim his Fight to Win Heavy Weight title. After that we talk about Michael Liera amazing 40 second Bow and Arrow choke and bolo sequence. We talk about Kedge Zawack and his textbook Hari Goshi double Ippon victory. As well as the rest of the Judo matches on the card. We also talk about some Brown Belt title matches. With Sheliah Lindsey vs Mo Black Bantam Weight No-Gi title. As well as Emil Fischer paint me like one of your French girls victory over Bruce Bugbee for the Masters Brown Belt Light Heavy Weight No-Gi title.
Then we move into the Queen of Mats inaugural event that saw Luiza Monteiro vs Ana Rodrigues in a technical match with plenty of tech ups. Ending with Luiza Monteiro being crowned the AJP first Queen of Mats for UAEJJF. We also recapped a few of the Rio Grand Slam Finals talking about Mayssa Bastos versus brown belt stand out Brenda Larissa. Isaque Bahiense vs Charles Negromonte, and a few other stand out matches from the event.
After that we move into the preview section talking about Fight to Win 131 Vagner Rocha Vs Tye Ruotolo. The Future Vs the Savage as its being booked. Maine and Emil talk at length about this matchup and how they think the veteran style of Rocha will clash with the Atos standout. We talk about how we think the style of what we saw from both competitors at ADCC will carry over, and how things will play out in the scrambles.
After that in the outro section Maine and Emil talk about the upcoming Sypder Championship with 250,000 on the line in Prize money the heaviest hitters at +100 Kg and -76 Kg compete for their share of the prize money.
