I know you’re quite familiar with the message that you should outsource more in your business so you can focus on growing your business, and to varying degrees you are comfortable with that concept.
I also know that you are steeped in the tradition that if you outsource tasks at home you are somehow less noble as a wife and/or mother.
We’re programmed to believe we must be the ones folding our own laundry and buying our own groceries in order to stay grounded and it’s simply not true. Listen carefully because I say this with love. I don’t do those things in my home. It’s not that I don’t like to do those things. It’s not that I feel like I’m above doing those things. What it does mean is that I want to be a less stressed person and that I’ve learned to ask for help. And now, I’m surrounded by amazing support.
