In this episode, we speak with Steven G. Owner and President of Interiors by Steven G. about growing up in Queens, NY. He tells us of his challenges of being faced with trying to stay out of jail, not selling drugs and staying alive because of the ruff environment he was raised in. He explains to us that he was going no-where fast and knew he had to get out of NY. Deciding to leave NY he drove 1300 miles with three hundred and fifty dollars in his pocket to Miami Beach where he decided to plant his feet in the sand. After arriving in Miami forty six years ago he has climbed his way to the top as one of the Best Interior Designers in the country. He is also looked at as a Philanthropic Hero in South Florida by many. His compassion and kindness for people are unparalleled and the city has paid homage to him for his humanitarian efforts and has declared Oct. 2nd as Steven G. Day!
