While the NFL media speculates and pontificates on the future of Aaron Rodgers, the quarterback himself has used his chosen platform to call out the media once again. Reports have been circulating that Rodgers was demanding the New York Jets acquire hand-selected players before he would finalize a trade deal with the Big Apple. Speaking to Pat McAfee, Rodgers said that’s not at all how the conversation went down. Rodgers said the Jets asked him for a “wish list” of players he’d like to see on the roster if they made a trade for the four-time NFL MVP. Rodgers is being criticized for the way he’s handling the decision about his future and the way he handles the sports media. Jason is not one of his critics. “I don’t blame Aaron Rodgers for being adversarial with the media. They have an agenda.” On the other hand, “Fearless” contributors T.J. Moe and Steve Kim are leaning the other way and are experiencing some “Aaron Rodgers fatigue.” HBO’s resident race-baiter, Bomani Jones, recently attacked JJ Redick over his exchange with Kendrick Perkins during the NBA MVP debate. Jones said, “White people aren’t always racially biased. But you can never be 100% sure.” Jason, T.J., and Steve discuss the thoughts of sports media's pseudo-intellectual. In Tennessee Harmony, Shemeka Michelle joins Jason, T.J., and Anthony Walker to share a strange conversation she had with a pastor at a cigar lounge. Then, Virgil Walker joins the conversation to talk about the new controversial statements from former megachurch pastor Rick Warren. After retiring from Saddleback Church and after the church itself was disfellowshipped by the Southern Baptist Convention, Warren said he now has scripture to justify the church’s decision to ordain female pastors in leadership roles.
