This weekend saw the continued social media meltdown following the SCOTUS decision overturning Roe v. Wade. The tantrums and virtue-signaling weren’t limited to the pro-choice politicians. Male celebrities and sports figures from LeBron James to Kyrie Irving, Barstool’s Dave Portnoy, and even O.J. Simpson stood up as advocates for “women’s rights.” Jason argues that we have the modern feminist movement and matriarchal society to blame for celebrity men voicing their collective outrage over the court’s ruling, but these rich and powerful men do have something at stake in the move to ban abortions: their sinful lifestyles. “Most of these guys just want to get laid. And if their girlfriend or mistress gets pregnant in the process, they want the option of offering cash, a non-disclosure agreement, and an abortion.” Who is aiding these men in their secular pursuits? It may just be our faith leaders. By refusing to address the culture war from the pulpit, are we just emboldening the current abortion culture? "Fearless" soldiers Dave Shannon and T.J.
