Since the 1970s, charismatic and Pentecostal movements subscribing to the new apostolic model have increasingly embraced extreme ideologies, claiming divine status simply by virtue of their belief. The alarming reality is that these factions are often orchestrated by the same oligarchs who exert control over our governmental institutions. Our series aims to expose these false prophets and dominionists, whose deceptive propaganda, spiritual channeling, and music have steered the more vulnerable away from true faith. Historically, the manipulation of belief systems can be traced back to elites in ancient Mesopotamia during the 20th century BCE, where rulers engaged diviners (fortune tellers) and astrologers to guide their governance and destiny, integrating these practices into the very fabric of state religion. Such historical precedents remind us that the exploitation of faith for control is far from a new phenomenon; it is a persistent tactic that continues to morph and thrive within modern contexts.
