The air is chilled with an ever distinct smell that takes you back to laying the fallen leaves as a child, joyous memories of laying while the branches sway above you in the breeze and the lady bugs hide amongst the leaves. The time of year when the trees are shedding something that once were a necessity of life to something the need to let go of in order to survive, ready for the next season, to bud, to be fresh, stronger, ever more brilliant than before.
