Kit Marie chats to Jessica Law over some masala chai, chatting about the forgotten Midlands, stinkpipes, snails, migrating birds, amongst other things! Jessica is a Biology graduate, former Communications Officer for BirdLife International and currently Editorial Assistant at an educational publisher. She is a science communicator who worked for a global environmental organisation for several years. Jessica is also a musician and the author of the popular singalong children's book, "A Hole in the Bottom of the Sea", which has entertained children worldwide with gruesome insights into the marine food chain. Her other achievements include reaching the finals of the World Snail Racing Championship, entering a song about eels into the EuroFISHion song contest, doing a stand-up routine about ornithology and, due to a misunderstanding about the vibe of the event, attending the British Birdwatching Fair dressed as a flamingo!
