In the conversation, Dominic Vijay Kumar discussed the advancements in loan processing procedures during the post-COVID era, which differ from those in the pre-COVID era due to the evolution of technology. He elaborated on how the Digital India Movement initiated by the Honourable Prime Minister Narendra Modi, coupled with advancing technology, has enabled his company to extend its reach to remote areas. Kumar has also highlighted the importance of securing customer data and preventing misuse, stating that NBFCs and HFCs have adopted technology at a rate of 50 to 60%.

He also shared:

"We are 80 to 90% digitized, and customers are happy because loan processing activities that used to take around 15 days to complete are now completed within around 5 days."

"There is a huge amount of data in NBFCs and HFCs that is being utilized to do better underwriting."
