The discussion varied, from the need for self-interest-based Black political organizing, how African American representation is being used to promote Western Foreign Policy, to the current events in both Africa and the Middle East, and how it affects Black people both here and abroad. We used her book “How the US Creates “Sh*thole Countries”, as a backdrop of the discussion. There is always conversation on topics that affect Black People locally, nationally, and internationally.
