This episode is the 24th and final episode not only of this season, but of this year! 2023 Year in Review is where Adsy and Joel take a look back at some of their best interviews, best moments, funny stories and more.

This episode was actually filmed at Hiker Brewing Co, just before we went live and filmed #23 – ABV Awards 2023. If you haven’t seen the awards post yet, you should check it out.

Being the first year that we’ve been doing the podcast, we had no idea how it would turn out. Would people watch, would anyone care, what if no one wanted to speak to us? Thankfully, all of those questions have been pushed side as we forged into the beer world without care.

It was safe to say, and easy for anyone to see, that the first episode left a lot to be desired. We weren’t really sure on how to structure an episode, how to ask questions, or what the questions would be. Adsy quickly abandoned the idea of having a bunch of pre-prepared questions and easily transitioned to going off the cuff. This resulted in a more natural conversation and there turned out to be not as many stops and starts.
