One of the things that worry me, as someone who is active in the CyberSecurity industry, is that when thinking about a manufacturing plant where there might be hundreds of thousands of disparate connected devices on the network, you really need to have a solid operational plan in place just to keep the devices patched and updated. How can Manufacturing plants and Operators of Essential Services - such as Utilities, Transportation, Smart Infrastructure and Healthcare, secure themselves when embarking upon their digital transformation journey? [02:01] Data is the new oil, and the data needs refinement. [02:38] Krishna: Two thirds of Digital Transformation projects fail because there is no trust in the data, or security is lacking. This could be solved by having a history and knowing who did what to a thing. And automate detecting and fixing of vulnerabilities at the earliest - Creating trust in the device and data generated from it.
