House Republicans failed to pass legislation tonight that would keep the federal government running until March, intensifying the threat of a shutdown ahead of tomorrow night's deadline. The Trump-endorsed plan was opposed by almost all Democrats, who are frustrated and angry after Elon Musk and the President-elect tanked an earlier bipartisan deal, as well as dozens of Republicans.
