(22:00) Spencer Schwellenbach took the loss in his MLB debut on Wednesday night. He gave up three runs in five innings and struck out five Nats. The Braves selected Schwellenbach in the second round of the 2021 MLB Draft out of Nebraska.

(25:00) Ray Kerr made another start on Thursday and had a better outing than the previous week in Pittsburgh despite the loss. Kerr spent April in Gwinett's bullpen before being called up in early May.

(35:00) The heat has been turned up from the fan base during this disappointing start of the season and it includes criticism of the hitting coach and the absence of Ron Washington.
