Barry first found music when he borrowed his sister's record collection when he was about eight and was hooked. When Caroline started it was a new beginning, and he listened to all the stations, but Caroline was his favourite by far. Later he became a singer in a band, then started doing discos when he was 18. This week Geoff and I explore the mystical Psychedelic Pop sounds of Iranian goddess GOOGOOSH! Born to perform, Googoosh (born Faegheh Atashin) started on the stage at the young age of 3. From there, she grew to be a massive singing success and movie star! She toured all through Iran and even through Europe until the Iranian Revolution, which silenced her voice. But about 20 years later she moved to LA and began singing again, still putting out records to this day.
