Banks, hospitals, defense contractors, private businesses, governments, and individuals are targets of this constantly evolving extortion gambit.
Today’s podcast isn’t going to cover how to prevent being hacked. There are plenty of corporate and online training courses that do that. I’ve spent many hours sitting through computer security training sessions, and I’m sure listeners of this podcast have as well. I’m not going to subject you to that. Instead, I’m going to investigate who these hackers are and explore why they are doing it.
