Imagine you woke up one day and realised it was all a dream...

In this our 50th episode of Taking Hugh for Granted, Oscar and Diggory take a look at Night Train to Venice (Carlo U. Quinterio, 1993), discussing Hugh Grant's monobrow, the not-so-horrifying horror elements of the film and whether Hugh was right when he said that this film was the worst he'd ever made...

Scottish Journalist Martin Gimmle (played by Hugh Grant) is travelling on the Orient Express night trip to Venice to drop off his copy of a book on European Neo-Nazism to an unknown publisher. On the journey, Gimmle meets a cast of characters including a performer (played by Tahnee Welch) and her daughter (played by Rachel Rice), who seem to be the only ones who can help Gimmle when the mysterious other-worldly powers of the illusive Stranger (played by Malcolm McDowell) start to take hold...
