In this episode Caye gets to meet a friend of Dan's from his hostel volunteering and backpacking days. Jeremy is a hostel manager in Malaysia and has seen many travellers and volunteers, including Dan, pass through. The gang tell stories, discuss Malaysia as a travel destination, talk about the odd relationship of the business of tourism with the cultural ideal being sold, as well as the odd bubble culture that surrounds long term backpackers and how it's a little similar to the bubble culture of international schools.
