TDCS060 Lump Self
Manage episode 291123631 series 2842497
Lump Self is our guest this week on the DragChamp Show podcast. Lump is the owner/operator of the newly re-opened I-30 Dragway just east of Dallas. He also owns Self Motorsports which builds racing engines for sportsman racers across the country.
Lump is better known for his Competition Eliminator, Pro Stock Truck, and Pro Stock talents but more recently has moved into running a race track and building sportsman racing engines. Our conversation touches on the race track, how his son Bryce, lil Lump, is now running the engine shop, and building race engines that run fast and stay together for 500 passes.
After the interview, the guys discussed a couple of topics including dumping RV tanks at the track and big dollar bracket racing car counts in 2021.
As always, we cover a so much ground on our show. Check it out and let us know what you think.
