The first few days of February are quiet, astrologically speaking. However, interpersonal tension will be building as Venus squares Mars on February 4th, ahead of a highly creative and flamboyant Leo Full Moon on the 5th.

These energies make the first week of the month helpful for romance and grand gestures of all kinds, but tempers will not be far from the surface.

Mercury moves into progressive Aquarius on February 11th, ushering in a short period of off-the-wall, blue sky thinking in all areas of life. No longer restrained by the discipline of Mercury in Capricorn, mid-month is a great time for innovation and experimentation.

Mid-February is also traditionally a time for love, but this year the romance comes a day late for Valentine’s Day - on February 15th, Venus conjuncts Neptune in a beautiful display of dreamy, romantic energy. This vibe is also very spiritual and deeply compassionate, so many of us will feel easily moved and much more inclined to help others.

Pisces Season begins on February 18th when the Sun moves into this emotional, poetic, watery sign. A couple of days later, on the 20th, the Pisces New Moon is a wonderful time for spiritual development, personal creativity, intuition, and instinct.
