The idea that a boy can magically become a girl, or that a girl can become a boy, is an incredibly damaging idea that has spread around the world. Maria Keffler has worked to confront the trans ideology in schools and across the country. She joins Dr. Morse to discuss her book: Desist, Detrans, and Detox: Getting Your Child Out of the Gender Cult.

Maria Keffler is a co-founder of Advocates Protecting Children, which helps individuals, families, churches, and organizations navigate gender ideology. Ms. Keffler is also a co-founder of the Arlington Parent Coalition, a watchdog group in Arlington, VA, which works to safeguard parents’ rights and children’s safety in public education. An author, speaker, and teacher with a background in educational psychology, Ms. Keffler has fought to protect children from unethical activism and dangerous policies around sexuality and transgender ideology since 2018. She lives in Arlington, Virginia (USA), with her husband and three teenage children.
