Week 5 of the Philadelphia Eagles 2021 season is now in the books as the Birds somehow picked up a win on the road against the Carolina Panthers by a score of 21-18. The Eagles are now 2-3 on the season.
After watching this game, we still don't know what kind of quarterback Jalen Hurts is on the field. Awful play during most of the game turned into some kind of productivity as he rushed for two touchdowns in the second half. The running game still remains a mystery and the offensive line had a rough week.
The defense had three interceptions in this game and the defensive line was disruptive. They did not give up as many rushing yards as they have in the past, which was a positive on the day for this team.
David Esser from Sportscasting.com joined Jeff this week to dive into the postgame banter. As always, we gave our takeaways, dove into the stats, and graded the units and coaches.
