One thing I’ve noticed over the years is that most change managers like to stay inside their comfort zone. What worked in the past will work now, right? Wrong. The world and the people in it are constantly changing and that’s why it’s so important for change leaders to evolve their strategies and tactics accordingly. We do this by keeping our eyes peeled for trends.
In this episode, I discuss what trends are, why it’s important to be aware of them and how intentionally aligning to relevant trends in your organisation will make delivering change far easier.
I share some trends that I’m seeing now and how to be strategic with the structures, processes and policies in your organisation to align with them. I talk about highlighting the purpose of your change initiative, transparency, peer to peer collaboration, and being intentional about designing and facilitating learning environments within the workplace.
