Many of us pride ourselves on being authentic, but authenticity is a tricky term. Authenticity involves a sincere effort to go inside ourselves and uncover what we are actually experiencing, and then communicate that. Being real ties into being able to accept who you are and embrace it. When the judgement comes your way, it gets immediately deflected because you are accepting of who you are. Remember this, you are YOU. That is never going to change. You are always going to be in the same body, so why not embrace it? Don't try to be someone else, that spot is already taken, but your spot is free and to only be occupied by you.
