Instead the corporate stenographers mention the possibility of environmental collapse, but the story is wedged between the Biden-Trump horserace and drag shows. Young people like Greta Thunberg are hitting the streets again to demand accountability and rapid change. They are arrested for their efforts. Meanwhile, political whores like Joe Manchin are racking up the bribes..."political contributions," as they push for more fossil fuel excavation. I will discuss this emerging story. Our second story deals with the systemic government censorship of our teachers. Both K-12 teachers and university instructors are facing dismissal, lawsuits, and losing their licenses over what IS constitutionally protected free speech. I will discuss how this story coordinates with the climate emergency story Apparently, the GOP wants to crack the whip over anyone daring to openly and vigrously discuss "divisive concepts."
