Manage episode 377386218 series 2885484
After a two-year wait, the Big 12 era has finally arrived as BYU embarks on a journey to face the Kansas Jayhawks. This marks the Cougars' second consecutive week of hitting the road for an away game. On Monday, BYU unveiled the official depth chart for their upcoming clash with Kansas, and it brought forth some notable changes to the starting lineup.
The emerging star, true freshman LJ Martin, has now claimed the role of the primary starter at running back. Martin made his debut as a starter for BYU just last week in a game against Arkansas. Aidan Robbins and Deion Smith have been designated as co-backups in this pivotal position.
In the free safety position, Tanner Wall has stepped into the starting lineup, taking over from Malik Moore.
Of note, Caleb Etienne is still holding onto his position as the starting right tackle, despite being temporarily replaced by Brayden Keim during the second half of a previous game. Below, you'll find the comprehensive depth chart along with an in-depth analysis.
