State police "takes full responsibility for the security failures that allowed this attack" to happen and are making "critical improvements" to their operations. The changes come after a man jumped the existing fence, broke into the home where Gov. Josh Shapiro and his family were sleeping, and set fire to the place. There were two state troopers on duty that morning, April 13. It's unclear how many will be part of the new detail.
