Fievel's Spiritual Lesson #4 -- Would That We Cared As Much as Fievel?

Fievel loves me ... a lot. I am grateful for his love -- especially since I am still grieving the loss of my mom who died in June 2020. However, the reality of his love for me became real when the large bulldog in the adjacent backyard to us began to bark at us when I was taking Fievel for a walk a few days ago. My little chihuahua jumped in front of me and took up a defensive posture to protect me from the large bulldog!

Now ... there was a fence between us and the bulldog and I actually would have had to protect Fievel if the bulldog had somehow reached us; however, I realized at that moment that Fievel truly loved me and saw it as his responsibility to guard our relationship. This caused me to begin to think ... would that we cared about our relationship with God as much as Fievel cares about me.
