I was very lucky with my assignment. It was very easy to build tension around the great vocals of @CrazyLittleAsian. I made full use of Intro, Chorus, Verse, Bridge/Outtro song structure. Though changed the sequence a littlebit.
The piece contains many layered Synths and Cinematic strings and percussion. I tried to make the mix sound as dense as possible supporting the vocalist with epic backings. The original BPM was 128 and has been reduced to 125 BPM. Many synths and sound techniques have been used, but the most notable are:
Digital to Real Analog Tape (Chrome II Position) bus compression on the TASCAM 238 Syncaset (8 Track).
Drum programming on TR909 Roland Drum computer
Bassline programming on Moog Mother 32
Elec Piano on Roland Juno 106.
Cinematic Elements on Kontakt
Some parts have been summed/mixed to LoFi Consumer Tape Chrome II position for more density and cohesion of the mix with manual Bias correction. On the Denon DRS-610
