In the name of “protecting” us, many states are working instead at stripping us of our basic freedoms. Consider this: just about everything in life has a fair amount of risk involved. Driving a car can be risky. Eating certain foods can be risky. Climbing a ladder can be risky. Living in a world with various viruses can be risky. Taking a vaccine against such viruses can be risky. The bottom line is simple: where there is a risk, there must be a choice.
