電子ジャーナルの到来は、学会に「コンテンツをどこで、どう公開するか」の選択を常に迫られる日々をもたらしました。 海外では、「プラットフォームの維持を学会内で行うか、または業者委託するか」といった問題から、自らのコンテンツにどのように タグ付けするかまで、デジタル世界がもたらした課題と改革はさらに先へ先へと進んでいます。 また、オープンアクセスをどのように具現化するかなど、ジャーナル出版の母体である学術団体が考えるべきことは尽きることはありません。 今回のSPARC Japanセミナーでは、以前よりご要望の多かった、現在日本で導入可能な海外のプラットフォームの紹介とともに、日本を代表するプラットフォームである「J-STAGE」についても、学術情報流通の現状を踏まえ、その機能や今後の展開などについてご講演を頂きます。 各社、各団体は、現在、プラットフォーム維持または製作において、何をもっとも重要だと考えているのか、学会の要望等にどう対応しているかなど、実際の現場の状況もご講演いただく予定です。
