Then, Lauren shares the compelling, yet somewhat contradictory, legend of the Snallygaster. Descriptions of this creature vary, often depicting it as a dragon-like or bird-reptile hybrid. The Snallygaster features a mix of reptilian and avian characteristics, with some accounts mentioning a beak or a combination of beak and fangs, while others describe it with huge bat-like wings and octopus tentacles for a tongue.
